Remember, if you or your loved one suffers an injury on the job, you have a right to have the workplace accident investigated by an attorney.
Workplace injuries can occur from vehicle accidents, explosions, defective products, exposure to toxic chemicals, a lack of safety equipment, slip and falls and co-worker violence.
These issues can result in grave personal injuries that are emotionally, physically and financially devastating.
Sadly, on November 10, a Florida Power & Light worker was seriously injured after a tree limb fell on his head. The accident occurred in a Palatka neighborhood.
According to the Lakeland Ledger, the 20-year-old man was injured when another worker was being lifted in the air by a work bucket and was cutting through tree limbs, which fell on the victim.
The worker was reportedly knocked unconscious by the limb. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
