Meet Personal Injury Attorney Joseph Moro
Joseph Moro is an attorney in the Aurora, Colorado, office of McBride, Scicchitano & Leacox, P.A. His practice with the firm is focused on civil litigation for plaintiffs harmed in cases of negligence and personal injury. Joseph is able to assist clients in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
Prior to joining McBride, Scicchitano & Leacox, P.A., Joe served as Deputy State Public Defender for the State of Colorado. In that role, he gained extensive courtroom experience from jury trials to appeals before the Colorado Supreme Court. Now, Joseph draws on his skills and experience to help victims of negligence fight for justice, accountability, and compensation.
Attorney Moro was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to Italian immigrant parents who instilled in him the importance of hard work and dedication. Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in 2011 at Georgia State University, where he majored in Spanish Literature. Prior to attending law school, Joseph worked as a private investigator. In 2015, Joe earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School of Business.
During law school, Joseph interned at the Pennsylvania Health Law Project, where he represented Medicaid recipients in successfully appealing denied claims against health insurance companies, and helped a human trafficking victim seek relief from deportation in Immigration Court through a legal clinic. Joe is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Colorado and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Aurora Bar Association.
Joe is happily married and in his spare time enjoys hiking, kayaking, and nearly anything else outdoors.
